Lady Buckeyes defeat MSU and Hofstra

COLUMBUS, Ga. - The Ohio State softball won its third-consecutive game after defeating No. 25 Mississippi State, 7-0, and Hofstra, 2-0, Friday afternoon at the South Commons fields during the NFCA Leadoff Classic. The wins give the Buckeyes a 14-3 record on the season and a 5-1 mark against teams ranked in either the NFCA of USA Softball weekly polls.
In game one vs. the Bulldogs,
Sam Marder belted a pair of two-run homeruns to lead the Buckeyes to the win.
Courtney Pruner added a solo blast, while pitcher
Kim Reeder shut out the opposition for the fifth time this season to earn her seventh win.
