None whatsoever. UGA AD, Damon Evans said he hasn't given it a second thought (truthful - given his current search for a new Hoops coach).
I'd say a legit 95% of alums are against it for four main reasons:
1. J'Ville has a bigger stadium and it would cut about 2500-4500 tickets per fan base - not cool.
2. The dome is a great facility, but the tailgating around it blows something fierce. The party atmosphere would be destroyed.
3. Most view it as a - "running away with your tail between your legs" type move.
4. [censored] the Atlanta City Council - if they want more money they should invest in cleaning up down town, lease a wing of our GINORMOUS airport or sell their $30 million worth of forest area in Ball Ground, GA. Moving the game to Georgia once every four years isn't going to be this massive influx of money.
**For what it's worth Gator - I'm not opposed to moving the game. I'd actually like to see it in Tampa or Orlando. Little bit bigger towns with slightly warmer weather. I've been to the WLOCP when the weather is rainy and it SUCKS. I just don't want it in the dome and DO NOT want it to go to a home/home series.
