USA Basketball invited Ohio State center Jantel Lavender to Colorado Springs to participate in the women's basketball national team trials for the World University Games.
Lavender, a two-time Big Ten Player of the Year, will be one of 29 players vying for 12 roster spots during the four-day trials, which start May 14 at the U.S. Olympic Training Center. The World University Games will take place July 1-11 in Belgrade, Serbia.
