I still don't like that either but I often do the same. Take it out of politeness but then I get angry at myself for providing the politeness I feel they were lacking in giving it to me in the first place. Stupid, I know.

Totally agreed. His wife has been a Christian for far longer and she and I joke with each other more.

And yes, agreed as well, at his brother receiving a pass because, as I mentioned earlier, OCB tells me he doesn't get the same sort of treatment from the man.

His kids are barely 6 months and were across the room to boot. I thought he was far enough away to not hear it when I chose to say it. I was trying to still be respectful of his house.
