Roddick upsets Andy Murray in the semis. 141 miles an hour top serve speed gave a significant advantage to the American Andy, even though he was generally outplayed in the other aspects of winners, unforced errors, total points.
Looking forward to the finals-- Roddick has an embarrassing record of 2-18 against Federer, including losses in the '04 and '05 Wimbledon finals.
It is not an impossible situation to catch Federer on a bad day, but with the slower grass, chewed turf conditions Roddick loses some of the sting on his big weapon.
Seems like America is so happy to see one of its own in the finals again that it is a moral victory even if he loses to Fed. Still would love to see ARod pull off the surprise of the decade and prolong Sampras' record of 14 grand slam championship.
