Sounds like a pretty good idea to make threats to a group of media outlets that probably have more lawyers on retainer than Alaska has inhabitants. Alaskans of all people I would think know what could happen if you poke a bear with a stick. Hell, the Times and the Post hadn't even printed anything on the situation in question, so good job making sure they pay a little extra attention to it now.
But now we got a story about them threatening to sue if the story about embezzling funds is published. So they can report that story, which is not only true, but totally free of malice.
