If rookie, Byrd is good enough to crack the starting line-up, the can slide Donte to FS due to his flexibility. The writer seems to think Byrd getting the nod at SS means Whitner moves to a back-up hybrid role. The writer got the slam-down by Bills insiders at PFT. And the writer used a source that never made those comments...just twisted things out of context for a story.
