The other night I watched the Navy/Temple rebroadcast of the '08 game on Direct TV played at Navy. Temple was up on Navy by 20 points in the fourth quarter, an eventual 5-7 Temple, before choking the lead away and losing in overtime. Temple only averaged about 14 points a game last year so they did not qualify as an offensive juggernaut yet they were able to run and throw on the Middies. If I recall they had about double their usual offensive output. This was also the game that would make Navy bowl eligible according to the announcers so there was in fact something to play for. I know you can't judge by one game and it was last year but Navy certainly did not look like the team that beat ND a few yeas back. If you factor in what they have lost I don't think they come within 35 points of
OSU.
