Michigan disciplines Cissoko after arrest

Michigan cornerback Boubacar Cissoko faces a court date next month after being arrested in June for disorderly conduct.
Cissoko, a projected starter this fall, has a pretrial hearing Aug. 24. He could face up to a $1,000 fine and 90 days in jail but likely won't serve time. Michigan head coach Rich Rodriguez issued a statement Friday that Cissoko had been disciplined by the program. "He is taking care of his responsibilities," the statement reads.
According to the arrest report, Cissoko was a passenger in a car pulled over for speeding and started yelling at a police officer after the officer asked the driver to get out of the car.
