I have long wished Fox's takeover of the BCS would be taking place much sooner. Ideally they would take over much of the broadcast market as well, however ABC/ESPN still hold the rights to a large portion of CFB especially the Big10.

Think about the ability to continue their trend from FoxNews. Regardless of whether or not you agree with their claim, they have marketed themselves extremely effectively as "the station that lets you decide." They could be a breath of fresh air that has enjoyable content and reports scandals but shows a level of restraint and will not smear schools like tOSU until the NCAA speaks out. An example of this would be to report Clarett's allegations however do so as to communicate him as being of questionable character and tOSU being praiseworthy until the NCAA states otherwise.

But alas this will never happen. Tho I think they really are starting to look more and more absurd in the way they handle certain stories (Bonds, overhyping NFL playoff drama - colts punter, freddie mitchell - even more than the usual media, tOSU, etc) to a tabloid-like quality. They should realize that only they can hurt themselves at this point thanks to their monopoly on the sports world, and I think they will continue to lose credibility if they do not change their approach to certain stories.
