Boone has an offer from the Irish. He has already given a verbal commitment to Ohio State, but will take a good look at Notre Dame and Michigan. I called his coach to find out if his interest in Notre Dame is for real.

"He's not out looking to see America with these visits," Coach John Gibbons told me. "No offense to South Bend or Ann Arbor, but if that was the case, he'd probably go see Florida and USC. They would certainly entertain him. I'd say he's being sincere."
