I'm thinking that until the running game starts gellin' (like a felon),
OSU might be better served trying some short-yardage, high percentage passes like a swing passes and quick passes to the backs in the flats. The swing pass is a glorified hand-off and there's no one that says you can't throw that as many times as you want. It's a pretty safe pass too.
I think until Ross and Hall get it going, Tressel ought to think about throwing more of those short passes to the backs and letting them operate in space.
I'd love to see Hall get the ball in open space and turn on the jets.
