Since Mandel's normally a prick, I have to give him him grief whenever possible. Notice how he puts an umlaut over the 'i' in naive when it's not necessary in standard English, showing how he's trying to be smart and precise? And then he avoids the common mistake of saying 'one criteria', since that's a plural form of the noun. However, he uses the non-word 'criterium' instead of the correct word, which is criterion.
