ESPN's ticker under the NCAA heading now says:
"NCAA notifies Ohio State of 9 alleged rules violations, including gifts and academic assistance for football and basketball players"
That plainly implies academic assistance to both football players and basketball players, when the only football related item was the $500 'gift' to Troy Smith.
Irresponsible bastards.
