CLEVELAND - The Cleveland Gladiators are getting set for their second appearance in the Arena League playoffs since the franchise moved from Las Vegas. The Gladiators last playoff appearance was in 2008.

The Gladiators will host the Georgia Force on Sunday July 31st at three o'clock at Quicken Loans Arena. The Gladiators beat the Force 62-48 at the "Q" back on June 11th.

One of the keys to the Gladiators success has been the play of Cleveland native Tim Cheatwood. The former Ohio State Buckeye and Benedictine Bengal lead the AFL in sacks with twelve and half. Cheatwood also has a fumble recovery for a touchdown and an interception. Cheatwood is in his second season with the Gladiators after playing in the Canadian Football League with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Cheatwood also spent time with the Houston Texans in 2005.

Cheatwood and the Gladiators hope to make a long playoff run and eventually bring the Arena Bowl championship to Cleveland.
