Slick, I agree that is an ideal thought but with the mutiple blitz scheme tOSU favors, many times the secondary is left in Cover 2 or even Cover 1. Neither of these schemes lead to the frequent deflected INTs to which you refer. Defense is basically pick your poison by sitting in a thick zone(Covers 3&4) or bringing extreme heat and relying on that pressure to cause a quick or errant throw while hoping your DB's athleticism holds down the fort...tOSU prefers the former
