I didn't get a chance to talk to him other then to ask about his knee, but a current teammate told me that Cobra would commit today to OSU if the Buckeyes offered him. He really wants to wear the Scarlet and Gray.
This is very good news if true. My guess is he will probably have to go to camp to get his offer, and if he does go and he does get that offer he would then commit. This would be a very good thing on two levels. One, tOSU would have a very good and athletic MLB. Second, if he and Connor Smith go to Ohio State then maybe we can break up the Colerain scUM mini-pipeline they've got going because Colerain is usually producing good talent that we would most definately love to keep in state.
