I didn't want to start a new thread on this but I thought this was an interesting blurb from the PD about the HS speed in Ohio this year

How can 6'2" be in the boys final? For state? That's crazy talk. I jumped 6' as a freshman and quit because I came in 5th at my first meet at Kent Roosevelt. Dudes were all jumping over 6'5". Man. I could've gone to state and come in last!
That Roosevelt meet was so deceptive and obviously my track coach thought I was more cut out for football and basketball only. :boohoo: |
