I truly believe we are seeing a different OSU team than we have seen in the last three years. The days of week in and week out nail biters are over. These are tressels players and he will game plan accordingly. The offense will improve dramatically this week. The offensive line will gel and the QB's will feel more confortable.
I would be surprised if Marshall put more than 10 points on us. The only way that will happen is if we turn the ball over. IMO Cincy is as good if not better than Marshall.
My prediction is OSU 45- Marshall 10 |

Pruett seems to have lost confidence in his O-line. If he doesn't like them then a few 'bell ringers" from Fraser and company will demoralize these guys in a hurry. I look for OSU to play three and four deep early.

Has any player or coach on tOSU's side made a comment on increased motivation based on the Arden situation? Usually Tress tries to keep that stuff close to the sweater vest, but I figured I'd ask anyway.

I just spent 3 solid days with no electricity/air conditioning, in the Florida heat with a pregnant wife, a 6 year old and a dog......and I guarandamtee MU will be happy to switch places with me after Saturday!!

After sending Arden out for the coin toss and getting a three TD lead, I think OSU should drive to the one yard line, take knee, and let the D score a safety. Repeat until the score is 35 - 0. |

Heard asnippet on the radio that paraphrsed Tressel as having said that the incident will have no impact on the game... but what else is he going to say? That we're a bunch of classless assholes and we're going to physically beat them and then embarrass them on the scoreboard...

No half safety involved. 3TD lead (21-0) + 7 safeties (14 points) = 35-0.
Obviously this is an exaggeration but I certainly would like to see Marshall get embarrassed. This is one game where in addition to wanting the Bucks to be successful, I want the other team to be made to look bad. |
