fulmer has always been a greaseball. the culmination of which came when he ratted out bama when UT was facing their own sanctions for the tee martin incident. ut's problems magically went away after he narc'd.
once mccoy is reassured by the coaches that no sanctions are coming, and its reaffirmed by some of our current commits, he will be fine.

My guess is there is probably some truth to that. Hopefully McCoy sees through the BS. It's nice that we have a kid like Robbie Schoenhoft calling and reassuring recruits like Rico. McCoy could come in and start as a redshirt freshman or a true sophomore. Not sure what Tennessee's LB situation looks like.

Rico has added a UNC visit (Jan. 21st) to the visits that Nutty listed in his last update. He assured UNC that he would not verbal to any school until after his UNC visit (his last official). He says UNC are a program on the rise and Coach Bunting has coached NFL players.

What current linebacker would lose a spot to him?
From everything I've heard, All three OSU 'backers are coming back next year.

A red shirt freshman is a 2nd year player.

And all three (actually four, wtih D'Andrea) are non-RS seniors, thus 2005 will be their last year. McCoy wouldn't be a RS-frosh or true sophomore until the following season (2006). BuckNutty is correct.

Rico just got back from his Pitt official and rated it a 10. It exceeded his expectations. He says Pitt will be there until the end along with tOSU, Tenn and UNC.
tOSU has a scheduled in home visit on Sunday.

Hopefully he is now our top target at lb along with Felder. If we get those two anyone else would just be icing on the cake.
Hopefully Tressel cleared everything up about all the MoC allegations and how much bullshit they are and he decides to be a buckeye after his visit this weekend.
