Martellus Bennett to NBA?!
Martellus Bennet, the top tight end out of Texas who signed with Texas A&M has enterred his name into the draft. Here's the link, although its premium and I can't read it. I was on my way to rivals to check some things out and this is their top story.

On collegesports.com they said he did not hire an agent. I imagine he will be at College Station in the fall after not getting drafted. Baseball kids do this all the time and no one gives them any grief. It really is strange though, to see the hold hoops has on some of these kids. A few years ago one of the top recruits in Ohio was Mike Marshall, a LB from St.X. 6'3 230-made plays all over the field-one of the best LBers in the nation-had offers from OSU,ND,scUM,etc. What does he do-takes a basketball schollie from Butler, and doesn't even play football his senior year at X. He had a nice college career at Butler-started,went to the tourney,etc-but basically threw away a potential NFL career-certainly much better than his hoops prospects.
