TE/DE Will Crall of Bexley, OH is getting some attention from some top programs. He will be making the camp rounds this summer at Ohio State and other schools.

A player to keep an eye on this year in Ohio is Bexley TE Will Crall. Crall (6-3, 235) recently attended Nike Camp in Columbus, but he was disappointed in his showing as he ran a 5 flat 40.

"I was disappointed," Crall said. "I've run a 4.8 before.

"I was real disappointed in my bench press. I had 12 reps of 185.

Some quality programs are paying attention to Crall though as Northwestern, Maryland are sending him handwritten letters, and he has received a handwritten letter from Notre Dame and one from Ohio U. He'll be going to Ohio State for one day and Notre Dame for two days, and he'll attend Northwestern's camp on July 23rd and may go to one more.

"Northwestern is a great school," he said.

What will be the deciding factors in his final choice?

"It depends on who offers," he said. "Academics will be crucial. I'm looking at the education.

"I'm thinking of majoring in business but I want to study a wide range of liberal arts the first two years and see what I want to do."

Football will also play a role though.

"I want to go to a school that's winning ball games," he said.

Crall could play on either side of the ball in college.

"Tight end is where most recruited me," he said, "but I also play defensive end."

He is supposed be at tOSU camp today then he goes to ND Tuesday. Those are his two favorites but tOSU is the leader. He also does not have an offer.

He also does not have an offer.

With a 5.0 40 time for a TE, that's not surprising.

According to Coach Conley, Will turned down an offer from Central Florida because he wants to stay in the state of Ohio, and may receive "preferred" walk-on status at Ohio State; if not, look for him to walk on at a MAC school.

Dallas Clark made it pretty big after walking on at a Big Ten school...sometimes the best players come floating in under the radar.

Playing Against One of the Best Defenses in the Nation

Tight End Will Crall, a walk-on from Bexley Ohio, talks about a range of topics including why he picked Ohio State out of high school and how the players reacted to the Texas loss.

By Steve Patterson

Which colleges recruited you out of High School and did you visit schools before deciding?
'The schools that recruited me out of high school were all of the Mid American Conference schools as well as Notre Dame, Northwestern, Indiana, Maryland, Cincinnati, and Illinois. '

What led you to decided to attend Ohio State?
