Recently called a "Freak" by Jeremy Crabtree of Rivals, Daniels was one of the biggest surprises at the Columbus Nike Camp. With great size and speed he could play a number of positions at the next level including TE, S, and OLB being pssobilities. Has the speed to play receiver but didn't catch the ball particularly well at the Nike Camp. Early on Daniels has interest in Ohio State(favorite), Florida State, USC, Purdue and Wisconsin, among others. Currently he is working on his test score and feels if he gets a qualifying score Ohio State will offer. He is being recruited by Luke Fickell.

Nice update...
Is it me or are more and more HS kids getting tat's these days... doesn't the parent need to sign off at the tat parlor?
Nothing against tats... I have a fraternity related one, that was inked back in college... I don't recall that many HS students having them when I was in HS...

Good question and no, it's not just you. Only one of my friends in high school had one and his name was Tat(Go figure). Seems like more kids have them than don't these days.

according to BuckNuts, Daniels was offered by tOSU- but he will not make a quick decision- he expects to take all five visits (those might include OU, Miami, NE, Fla and FSU)

Duane recently compared him to the late Dru Humphrey as a RB and really loves his size.
gbear,
I was thinking the same thing, especially the kid behind Daniels who is "misunderstood." Whatever. Anyway, I found this article yesterday about high school kids in the Cincy area getting sick from this guy running an illegal tatoo operation.
Illegal Tattoo Operation
Quote:
Police said an illegal tattoo operation has been uncovered, and as one teenager recovers, health officials warn there could be more infected children.
According to local police, as many as 150 students from four area high schools could be affected, WLWT Eyewitness News 5's Juliette Vara reported Friday.
The Hamilton County Health Department issued a warning Friday that the children could have been exposed to serious illnesses like hepatitis B and C, possibly even HIV (news - web sites).
Police in Colerain Township said that Tony Pippin , 30, was operating an illegal tattoo parlor inside his apartment on Banning Road for at least six months, Vara reported. Investigators added that Pippin was not using proper sterilization methods.
Word spread around town to area students that Pippin was giving tattoos and piercings to juveniles without consent from their parents, police said. And one of the teens who got a tattoo from him reportedly got seriously sick afterward. And in recent days, more students are coming forward saying they've been ill as well, Vara reported.
Health department officials are warning parents of students at Northwest, LaSalle and Colerain high schools, as well as Diamond Oaks Vocational Center, to call their doctors if their children got a tattoo or piercing from Pippin.
