Well, since I'm getting schooled in most other ways, I'll just pile on myself:
- What the heck is a proton-accelerator 4.21 40?
My newbie status to the world of recruiting is causing most of this (not that you need any convincing as to my lack of wisdom).

Don't worry, I don't know what a proton-accelerator is either.
It's either a joking-term, or.. well, I dont' know?

Some encouraging news on Collins today (he did not go to FSU and has OSU on top). Wells and Collins would make a nice package at RB.

Don't get too excited about Collins just yet; according to Helpinghand, he isn't academically qualified, and needs work on both his core GPA and his test score.

What's odd is that Collins stated a little over a week ago that Miami was out of it:
"Miami is pretty much out of it at this point. They want me as a fullback and I want to play running back." BSB link
I wonder if Miami has changed their tune or if he is starting to accept that most teams are looking at him as either a fullback, or at best as a big back that can be paired with a smaller, speed back? Maybe Conredge has accepted that most teams are not recruiting him as a "featured" back? And I wonder why FSU pulled its offer?

I bet he goes to scUM south. Their rb's are comparable to OSU's in size, with Gore leaving they don't have a big back either. They'll probably tell him he can play tb but then use him as a combo back like B. Joe.
