Collins is a brusing RB recruit projected to be one of the best in the state of Florida if not the entire nation. He ran for over 1600 yards and scored 20 TDs on his way to being named all-state and also leading his team to a state championship last year. As a sophmore he ran for 850 yards and 14 scores. Collins' father Tony played for the New England Patriots.
He just received offers from childhood favorites Miami (FL) and Florida State. He also has been offered by NCSU, Pitt, Iowa & Rutgers.
Miami and FSU are his top 2 followed by Ohio State & Michigan.
Collins wants to be a RB on the next level and the schools recruiting him as a FB may be fighting an uphill battle. The depth chart and location are also going to be factors in his recruitment.
Rumors are abound that he and teammamte Quinton Andrews are a package deal but we'll see how far that goes.
