I have to agree with you on this one buckskin but hopefully he will want to go to a program that has a winning tradition and not Washington.

He had a good trip to LSU but a "long" flight home.
Next up is Oregon St. this weekend (replacing ND) and then tOSU on Jan. 7th.
He still might consider ND & Washington but wants to know who the coach will be before deciding on a visit.
He liked what tOSU did in their NC victory and he knows tOSU needs LB's after next season.
He doesn't think very much of the MoC "stuff" and doesn't think anything can come of it.
The key factor in his decision will be how he fits in with the other players/coaches.

I believe the fact that at one point his top 3 were all in the east bodes well for us. The fact he knows he can come in and play is also a good thing. He wouldnt want to go somewhere away from home where he couldnt play. Hopefullly he doesnt rekindle his liking of notre lame or Uw with a hiring of TW.

OSU's chance with Felder ( http://www.collegefootballnews.com) just went up by 25%. Saban to Browns....

He rated his LSU visit an 8 out of 10.
He said LSU is near the top of his list but he does not have a clear leader- remember the rule -that you need to be even or ahead after your official if you are going to have a chance at a commitment
He sees Oregon St. this weekend, then tOSU on Jan. 7th- The schools in contention for his final two visits are PSU, ND, Miami, Cal, ASU and Washington.

I got a good feeling about him, but just don't know if there is going to be room to fit him into the mix, expecially if he waits till his official. We could already have lennix, McCoy(not saying till AA game, but we know), Hodge. I don't think they take 5 backers unless they tell lennix he is going to be moved to fb or ss.

They can move Lenix to S and move Daniels to FB. What a luxury We could take 5 great LB recruits and have a few of them masquerade in a few other spots. The ability for Daniels to play FB is extremely exciting, because of the speed all around for OSU in 2005 and beyond (especially if we pull down that athletic TE and he can drop a few tenths of his 40).
