are we recruiting him as a fullback or linebacker?looks like a good frame, if they can bulk him up another 20 or 30 lbs he could be an absolute beast of a fullback

Felder has to be considered one of the top LB prospects in the country this year. It is great that a kid from the State of Washington is showing interest in the Bucks.

Duke Rivals on Anthony Felder (7/1/04)
Basically, he's wide open, and will not decide any time soon. He mentions a verbal offer from Ohio State. |

Rivals has new video posted of Felder, and it's pretty nice! He has great speed and qucikness, and fights off blocks well; once he gets to the ball carrier, he hits hard. On one option play, he hit the QB right as the ball was pitched, then veered off and tackled the TB for a loss. Sweet!
On offense, he plays FB, where he shows some decent running ability and good, solid blocking. However, he is an LB, probably an MLB (Kat-like at 6'3", 225, 4.5). |

I have been hoping for some time now that more names like this would come out at LB. Critical year for that position IMO. Tressel seems to be putting a net out over the nations best so I'm thinking he agrees. Hope we can hook one.

Ohio State not mentioned as a top school.

Sorry about that....
Anthony mentions that Washington has some appeal because it is close to home, but he doesn't name any leaders. He has offers from Washington, Duke, Notre Dame, LSU, ASU, Oregon, Oregon State, Ohio State, and Penn State, and states, "I’m happy with the offers I have now." So, it looks like OSU is in the running to some extent. |
