Is this possibly the worst year for QB's in recent memory? Only 4 QB's in the top 70 according to Rivals. Last year there were 4 or 5 in the top 15.

schoenhoft is a big suprise here i would have to say. never thought you could make an elite 11 throwing for under a thousand yards and less than 40%.

VG- me either- even Lemming has Rob in his top 10 QB's- I guess school's are not concerned about stats as long as you have all the tools- Schoenhoft's Nike performance skyrocketed him up the rankings
Lemming's top 10 QB's from his free e-mail- usapreps.com
Quote:
Derek Shaw- Oceanside, CA
Ryan Perrilloux- Reserve, LA
Josh Portis- Woodland Hills, CA

Greg Paulus- Manlius, NY (DUKE)
Rob Shoenhoft- Cincinnati, OH
Harrison Beck- Clearwater, FL (NEBRASKA)

CleveBucks-I believe you are correct. I have read that this was a very weak year for QBs nationally, unlike last year.

in hindsight though i don't think troy smith threw for a thousand yards either and he made the elite 11. i can't imagine his completion percentage was below 40% though either.

I'm pretty sure his completion % was right around 50% his senior year at Glenville. Some of his detractors over at BN discuss that when mentioning why Zwick should be the starter.
