Forcier attended the Columbus Nike camp, where he looked good:

Apparently, Forcier's father is from Michigan, so that explains his interest in Midwestern schools. |

Wasn't he on 90210?

Here is a recent free article about Forcier going to Arizona camp with a mention of his visit to tOSU

But I do find it interesting that he went to tOSU Nike camp, toured our campus, visited Spring Practice, likes the Big Ten, wants to go to school outside of CA and still does not name us among his favorites. ![]() |

Forcier was at OUS Sunday, for the one-day senior advanced camp. Earlier, he came in for the Columbus Nike camp. That's two trips from San Diego to Columbus in two months. Maybe he's more interested in the Bucks than he's letting on at this point....

Forcier was told by tOSU that he is right behind Schoenhoft. He also likes scUM and MSU and figures Schoenhoft can't go to all three schools. He seems willing to play 2nd fiddle and go to one of the schools that don't get Schoenhoft. |

Forcier confirmed again that tOSU, MSU, scUM are waiting on Schoenhoft before they decide whether to offer. ND, scUM, MSU, Ohio State, Illinois, USC and UCLA are the favorites. The article was written by the Irish site and they seem confident in their chances with Forcier if they offer. |

There's also a Schoenhoft article from today which discusses Forcier, and confirms that OSU, MSC, and Michigan are waiting on Schoenhoft before offering Forcier. What about Sanchez? Are the Bucks waiting on him as well? Do you think that OSU is looking at Forcier as being the second QB in the class?

We'll wait on Sanchez all the way to LOI day if he's still undecided. He is not one you would pass up.
IMO if we take two QB's, the pecking order at this point would be: Schoenhoft - I don't see him coming to OSU. If ND offers, it'll be a ND/um race. If not, I think it's a um/MSU race. Forcier - I hear he did very well at camp. Has legit speed and can tuck the ball and run as well as throw. I think he may get an offer as soon as Schoenhoft turns us down. I'd like our chances if Schoenhoft goes to ND. I think we can beat out MSU, and I don't think he likes um's depth chart. I'm not sure um will offer regardless. They may hold a "QB" spot open for Bass, even though he'll never play QB there. Stull - I think if he was able to attend camp he'd be right up there (or above) Forcier. I hear he put on a nice performance for the um coaches. I think he could still get an offer a couple games into his season, or earlier if things are looking down for Forcier. He says he's willing to wait on OSU, and I get the feeling he'd most likely commit on the spot. I don't think we'd get past this point, because Stull would commit. There's also Jackson from Fla, but I think he might get offered at WR/ATH. The coaches were trying him out at receiver at camp and he looked good. Even if we don't get Sanchez, if we get either Forcier or Stull I'd be happy. I think both have a big upside with a lot of potential. That being said, Sanchez is probably the out of state recruit I want the most. |

I agree with everything in your evaluation Clevebuck except I feel like we are sitting better with Schoenhoft then you are giving us credit for. I don't think we lead at this point. However, I am not sure that anyone leads at this point. His comments after camp seemed pretty positive to me. I thought I read today that his parents are OSU fans, so we may have someone in our corner encouraging him. So many great options though, I hope we come out of this with some good quarterbacks.

I didn't really get to read the ND update, but I can pretty much guess that he's turned off by the delay in offering him. I found this quote from the ND site:
"If they offered, they'd be up at the top and make things more complicated," said Schoenhoft. "I'm kind of tired of waiting. That has kind of turned me off them a little bit." So while I think he has been turned off, an offer would probably get them right back in the hunt. I think RS would like to commit soon, so they may play themselves right out of the picture. |
