i think it is two things. one a numbers crunch (especially at corner) and two the height. while harrison does have some decent muscle mass he is just very short. antoine winfield was very short too though but nobody hits like antoine though either.

Premium Harrison Link From The Insiders
Per the latest Insiders update Ohio State coaches visited with Harrison and discussed possibly offering him. They would like him to come to camp but he doesn't want to do any one day camps this summer. They mentioned he being the 3rd rated Ohio DB on their board behind O'Neal and Myers-White. |

According to today's Insiders update Harrison feels Ohio State is very close to offering him. Sounds good to me

Harrison measured 5-8.5 at the Nike camp. Does that concern anyone else? He's not slow (ran a 4.25) or skinny (weighed in at 190) by any means. How is his tackling ability? His numbers almost make me think he'd be a better safety, where he doesn't necessarily need the height to go one on one with a 6-4 receiver every play.
I also wonder how serious him and Ringer are with playing together. Just about everybody in the know believes Ringer won't get an offer. I wonder if they both end up at Iowa when it's all said an done. |

I see Harrison strictly as a corner. But since the trend toward tall receivers is still growing, I hope he is too! Love the speed and strength combination, though.

Harrison just visited Illinois and came away very impressed. When asked if any schools on his list stood out, he listed Illinois. |
