Cushing recently visited Maryland and now they are listed among his favorites. He has 3 visits scheduled and Ohio State is among a list of 4 schools vying to get one of his final 2 official visits this fall. Cushing said it was kind of pointless to name a leader at this point but it appears USC and Virginia are on top.

Nothing really new in this update. Cushing is still trying to finalize who will get his last two official visits and the Buckeyes are still in the hunt.

I can understand his listing Maryland, Virginia, PSU, and Rutgers as they are close by, and USC and Miami as they are "glamour locale" teams, but why Notre Dame and Oklahoma and not us? Notre Dame is mediocre at best right now, and Oklahoma's defense is no better than ours while we have the more recent national title (not to mention we didn't get waxed our last two games of the year like Oklahoma did).

I would say he's listing/considering ND because he's Catholic, not to mention they have great tradition despite being down the last 5 years or so.
