'05 IL OL Dan Doering (Iowa signee)
I found an interesting blurb on Doering from Irish Today
Quote:
"My family and I are Christians and it's definitely a big plus that ND has such a strong background with Christ," Dan Doering.
Rick Schutt brings IRISH TODAY subscribers the Doering directly from Dan. He has 8 offers including a verbal one from the Irish. Read all about the new recruiting race in IRISH TODAY.

It seems like this is the type of kid that gravitates to JT

I'll be very disappointed if we don't get in on Doering. I still can't understand why we didn't go after Roland Martin for that matter.

Great, I think he is a good catholic kid. I remeber reading something that makes me think that USC has a really good shot at this kid, I think he and his friends were most impressed by his USC offer. He seems like a JT recruit so lets see if we can't land this guy too, I would like to see another 4 O-lineman in this class despite the small size and I think we have the opportunity to land 4 great ones.

Nutty,
Lets just hope we can get him to a camp or get an official out of him.... how great would it be getting him and Boone in the same class!!!! I could prob. run between those two (ok def. not, buy you get the point)...

Amen to that, gbear. I still wonder what took us so long to offer. I just hope we didn't wait too long. We are finally starting to stockpile some quality lineman with the likes of Skinner, Person, Mitchum, Cordle and Boone, not to mention Rehring and Barton.
