Big Dog, just to clarify my Fred Davis analogy... I am aware that M. Wells is from Florida, not Ohio. I was referring to the possibility that, although it seems parents and others close to him favor tOSU, the kid's head might get turned by the glamor of SoCal, a la Fred Davis.
I'm not being paranoid, just trying to anticipate the mental workings of a 17year-old kid who is sure to be very heavily recruited and, in the process, will hear every fawning flattery and false promise in the book. After all, it worked on Fred.

With or without m. wells, stewart would seem to be a very, very good get. I like his size and his openly wanting a buckeye offer. PLUS, the more recruits we get from states we don't usually recruit very hard, the better!

Rivals Premium on Stewart
Stewart mentions he has started receiving mail from Ohio State and they are currently in his top 5. He hasn't decided where he will take his official visits yet. From some of the quotes in this article you have to believe Stewart will hit it off with Coach Tressel. Hopefully we get a visit.

Duane Long has a short article on Stewart; he is still considering OSU, and distance from home will not be a factor in his decision. Test scores seem to be an issue....

That sounds about right to me. Oregon has started taking a big chunk out of the Huskies ass ever since Neuheisel screwed things up. Washington is now the 3rd local choice for kids up there, behind WSU and Oregon.

I thought Lucky have grade problems. Does it look like he will be able to make it? I really hope you are right though. Would love to get Wells here.
