Small-school back but is a great athlete. Ran for well over 2,000 yards in 2003 while leading his team to a 15-0 record and a Division VI state title. Was named Division VI offensive player of the year. Also won the state title in discus, was sixth in the shot put and ran the lead leg of his school's 4x100 squad, which finished fourth.

Mili: A lot of more knowledgable High School football followers than I am are touting Maag for Mr. Football this year. He apparently is quite a player. Too bad it is in one of the smaller divisions. They play great football, don't get me wrong, but they get a hell of a lot less pub than the big Div I and II schools.

I played against his brother Ben when I was in high school. He was a horse too.

Columbus Grove's conference also doesn't help matters much as they play in the very weak Northwest Conference.
