Personally I think stripes is due for a miss. IMO its time to stand by our bucks and stop backing these SC dudes. Nevada and HH are the only guys I count on for inside info!
Landing JG would be awesome, everyone knows this, but if he possibly could help us bring in McKinney or (by way of a miracle) Cushing (had early interest in us, I never found out why he stopped liking us), I would be estactic. I'm gonna be cautiously optimistic about landing more than JG, but I am gonna be very optimistic about landing JG.

"Does anyone know how wstripes used to do before USC was this unbeatable juggernaut? Not to deny his ability to predict, which seem superb, but I bet the Miami predictor guy looked pretty good back in 2000-02. That's the only reason I can see wstripes being wrong"
I was in College then and didn't have to sit infront of a computer most of the day so I didn't really even know about these websites....I started following recruiting the year PC got there.....My sources are very good.
"all that I will say is that if "wstripes" is putting it on the line with this kid he is taking a huge huge gamble"
I'm not putting anything on the line....I don't post info to gain credibility around the boards...I don't care that much, I just give out the info I get when I can....If JG goes to OSU, than I'm wrong.....However, wasn't I taking a huge, huge, huge gamble when I said Jarret, Davis, Sanchez were going to SC...when I was positve the whole time? The only people who should worry about their reputation on these boards are the ones who run these sites and do this for a living....I'm just fortunate to have great sources.....
Haven't seen you around for a while Sears

I'm sorry but our osu "experts and insiders" have gone up against wstripes numerous times in the past w/ conflicting info...guess who's been right every time? wstripes. If he says gwaltney is playing games w/ us, I tend to believe him. I've always thought he was sc bound.

True but the Buckeye sources on recruiting have been a little off. I think it'd be even more of a gamble to put your money on what a Buckeye insider has to say given all the misinformation that has been presented not only over the last few days but during the last few years.
I hate to be pessimistic but our track record with recruits this late in the recruiting season and wstripes validity on USC's recruiting doesn't make me get my hopes up.
I do appreciate the info though Nevada. It's pretty obvious that you are well-connected. Here's hoping your prediction comes to fruition.....

Now, I don't want to start anything, but weren't Davis and Sanchez pretty much givens that they were SC bound? Now, calling Jarret was nice, I give you credit for that one. However, not everybody is perfect and unless he has spoekn with Gwaltney directly recently he may have changed his mind since he last gained his info. I do respect you Stripes, but I am just saying what I am thinking.
