Anyone else think it is possible that he is currently committed to both schools coaching staffs?

all that I will say is that unless "wstripes" has spoken to Mr Gwaltney in the last 8 hours then his info is old.....
that is UNLESS Pete Carroll and Jason are conspiring to make the OSU nation, internet community and coaching staff appear foolish--that is always another possibility---all in a sick attempt to build the drama for a Wednesday announcement.
And with all due respect to Wstripes....calling Davis and Sanchez was no big feat. I was surprised by Jarrett(as he had verbaled to JT personally).
Im still not calling Gwaltney as a Buckeye....just so that I'm clear.....what I'm saying is that there is a lot of "contact" being made--and OSU certainly has the momentum....

True...but calling them weeks and months in advance of any announcement, regardless of numerous rumors to the contrary is. I won't give out anything Stripes tells me in PMs, but he has nailed things on consistent basis and it has not been limited to tOSU/USC recruiting battles.
NV, I know you have solid info also...I hope you are right on this one.

I'm surprised that everybody seemed to have forgotten that a while ago, Stripes stated that in his opinion MoWells would choose G-Tech over Ohio State at that time. Whenever Stripes has the word "IMO" in his language, there is always room for interpretation.

I take everyone's info with a grain of salt. Sure, stripes has been right, but it's really hard not to be considering how much butt USC has been kicking in recruiting. So you never really know, you know? This isn't a diss on you, stripes, I'm just saying, you never know for sure. Even if your info is from Petey himself, kids say things they don't mean all the time. I could have had JT as my source and been sure they were getting DJ, and then be shocked when they didn't, you know? So while I take stripes word probably better than any of the so-called gurus, I still believe we have a chance with Gwaltney. He could be telling everyone in the world USC and still be unsure, especially since he verballed to everyone on his trips. In fact, I wouldn't be shocked at all to find out every coaching staff still thinks Jason is a verbal to their school.
Actually, I have a question, stripes -- if this kid knows where he's going, why hasn't he announced? I know that people like the spotlight, but why not announce at the AA bowl, or this week on ESPN? I just don't really understand that if he's been a silent to USC for the last two months, or whatever, he hasn't announced. I know that you've said kids are asked to stay silent to help recruiting at their position, but it doesn't look like SC is in on any other backs, right? So why's he waiting so long?
