Archie Griffin is an Ohio State booster, and like all boosters he would not be allowed to participate in recruiting. However, if a recruit was at tOSU on campus and met him, that's a different story as long as he doesn't try to recruit the kid. |

I am sure this has already been stated, but it looks like Dennis will get another year at USC.
I think Jason would be a great back at both schools. However, I think he will start quicker and face less competition at the RB postion at OSU. I know about C. Wells next year, but I have heard that Moline(?), Bemoll TM, it a USC lean and I read somewhere else about a really good back out of Cali next year. You have to figure Carroll will get whomever he wants out of that state, plus most other states. Have to give the man credit he is an excellent recruiter. |

Question for Alan. Lemming has said on radio that Jason's father and uncle want him close to home at OSU. Has he mentioned this when you talked to him?? |

oh hell...if lemming is running with it...
yes....the only chance the buckeyes have is if they get the father and uncle to enforce their experience and knowledge....
if a tOSU coach isnt in both of their ears 24/7....we have a recruiting problem...
most especially after petey's visit today...

No, I am sure he wants to come here, or he wouldn't have us in his final 2. It is just that his father and uncle want hi to to go tOSu mroe than they want him across country. Why? I am not sure. Probably becuase they want to see him play mroe often, or that they realize he will most likely start as a Freshman. I don't know of a better situation for any RB this year than Jason could have if he attends Ohio State.
