There is solid information to believe that both sides are correct; USC and TOSU. I'll believe it when I hear the letter is sent in. I hope JT can bring the kid here.
I still cannot figure out why any top RB would not come to the OSU given the current situation.

Exactly! We are recruiting top OL talent and our RBs have been **ahem** not that good **ahem** lately. Furthermore, we have a head coach who has proven he will not abandon the running game even when it is failing miserably.. how much more dedicated will he be to running the ball if it's working? Seems like you could come in and play 3-4 years here and then go pro with a college rushing record if you were good enough. Anyone out there good enough?

I see why they call him a "bruiser."

Hey, Im an OSU fan from long island and I saw this forum about jason. I just wanna say that I have seen Jason play twice and this kid is the real deal. If OSU needs a big back this kid is it. He once knocked a kid from Riverhead out cold with his forearm. In one of the games I saw him play, the other team ran a blitz up the middle and the kid ran full speed into jason while he was taking the handoff and literally bounced off and jason proceeded to gain 8 yards. This was amongst many other spectacular plays he made. I know LI football is not great but if there is a good conference out here, it is the one he plays in. Plus I think he showed his ability at the AA bowl even tho East got killed. Finally, alot of people seem to have questions about his speed. When I saw him he was outrunning small defensive backs and safeties. Although his speed is a question (with his 40 time being anywhere from 4.45 to 4.6), if there is one kid who will work hard to get faster it is him. I've read that he is an extremely hard-worker in the weight room and on the field and I totally believe it because he is a no-nonsense, team-oriented kinda kid. Everytime he scores a touchdown there is no celebration, he just hands the ball to the ref and walk off the field. And if you read all the articles about him everytime they ask him about his accomplishments the first people he mentions are his teammates. If thats not a team player, I dont know what is.

I'm glad to hear a first-person account that verifies all we've been hearing and seeing on Jason's videos. He sounds like an OSU kind of guy -- handing the ball back to the officials instead of showboating, putting team first, etc.
Everybody here would really love to see Jason earn his first gold pants pin next November. I hope he fully appreciates how amazing his carer in Columbus could be. There is no program in the country that treats it's players -- current and former -- as well as tOSU.

Thanks, JRP. Jason sounds great and already like a Buckeye!
We're just hoping he has reasons to come here but good luck to him no matter where he goes.
Keep us updated if you can.
