Yes they still do the hat thing, sounds odd but 2 years ago they did it with Chris Leak and last year also, name escapes me but he was a DE from NJ that ended up choosing Florida.

derrick williams announced in December on ESPNews and he used hats. Expect ESPNews to go to 3 commercial breaks between introducing him and him actually pulling a hat out. They milk it for all it's worth.
FYI, I don't believe the 2 hat story, but it was posted

At this point....at you can say is good luck to Jason wherever he goes. Today is a great day for the Gwaltney household, I'm sure. The kid really owes us nothing and if he goes elsewhere, which is what the signs are pointing to anyway, I'd be routing for him on Saturdays b/c he is one hell of a football player.

BP exclusive
I just got off the phone with my source. His plan is to play the spring game at OSU, practice all summer with WVU and play in the fall at USC.

Well since we are overanalyzing this let me ask everyone a question. Most of us don't realistically expect JG to annouce OSU as his choice. However is there still a very small part of you that is holding out hope for OSU? Come on admit it, I'm still hopeful. I won't go nuclear if he doesn't pick the bucks, but I am still somewhat hopeful.

If we were not hopeful, we wouldn't bother reading this thread.

Why am I paying such attention to all of this crap??? I have been telling myself for the past month that JG is icing on top of the cake, he is going to USC... no way OSU. But I can't pull away!!!!
I believe he has been playing the media the whole time and enjoying every minute of it. So almost every story out there could be true, but the problem is it might have been true for only the minute he was saying it.
Thank god I don't have ESPNews or else I would be running home grabbing some pizza to watch this mess. But now I will just rush home get back online and welcome the end of the world as Bucknuts explodes no matter what happens.
This is another freaking reason I just love the Buckeyes... and why I loved every heart attack I suffered during the National Championship game 2 years ago.

The best analogy I can think of is...
It is like that car wreck on the side of the highway...you know it is bad, but you allways look..........we all feel it is largely likely that nothing good will come of it for Buckeye fans, yet we have made it this far, that we simply MUST see it all the way to the finish line.
The facts out there say WVU
My gut says USC
My dilluted optimism says OSU
In any event, he seems like a great kid, who will be successful wherever he goes.
