aaaahh... too bad we didn't get JG, but at least it's not usc. my question is what is wvu going to do w/ the three other backs that they have already signed this year? off the top of my head, i can't name them, other then collington. it will probably be logical to think that they might look elsewhere.

Good Luck to JG in WVU....I am sure he will have success there.

After Wednesday I will post a very funny story of how the conversation between JT and Gwaltney went.....
This, once again, shows you how tough it is to predict 18 year old young men's behavior---they mislead and sometimes outright lie to you--so you can never be sure... perhaps we will bury the "Wstripes said it, so it must be 100% true" BS ---the reality is that no one is right all the time... |

Good luck JG, thanks tOSU staff
Good luck JG. Glad you went with your heart and where you felt the most comfortable. Also glad your family can watch you play.
Thanks for your hard work with this kid Tressel and co. You landed us an amazing one in Wells, and almost steered this WVU commit over to the Shoe. Thanks for the guys pictured below (among others): <img src="http://jwinslow.com/imagestuff/temp/recruitavatar.jpg"> yes I realize Wilson is a bit of a guess, but I feel pretty good based on the insider info here... |

The young man would have looked great in S&G but he chose with his heart and you can not fault him for that. He looked at all options and made an informed decision.
On the other hand BN may well implode if we strike out with JG, WA, and LW. What a mess that will be! Who knows losing JG may temp Chris Wells to be totally in love with our depth chart and lack of big backs... |

My sadness that he will not be coming to Columbus is almost overcome by the smug sense of satisfaction that comes from Pete Carroll losing a recruit to West Virginia. Good luck in Morgantown, Jason.

comment from Jason during the Presser... "I called coach Carroll and coach Tressel and they had different reactions. Coach Carroll was disappointed and said he thought I was making a mistake. Coach Tressel, you could tell he was for real, he was disappointed and wished me the best and told me I could always change my mind. I thought about it for a second, but I'm going to West Virginia." |
