I don't think Scout.com counts "soft verbals" for rankings purposes either because it shows tOSU with only 2 Top 100 and 5***** recruits but with O'Neal, Boone, and Worthington (who is listed as a soft verbal) we obviously have 3. While it probably wouldn't give us enough to jump Georgia on its own merit, it would make it much closer. If we can land Wells, McCoy, Lennix, Ashley, and Wilson to round out the class that is another 4 4**** recruits and another 2 top 100 guys. I like our chances for a top 3-5 class.
The Big Ten is well represented and Iowa will continue to rise as they still have several top 100 recruits on their board that show them as their favorite.

Interesting to note that we have the third highest average stars rating behind the usual suspects...USC and Miami...while many of us put very little stock in that kind of thing, I also think it goes to show that our staff has done a great job of getting the players they want in-state and the going outside of Ohio and picking up a couple of major prospects each year...

6 Michigan 18 9 1,427 The Wolverines have been making some positive news the last week and they have a great shot at landing the Big 10's best class once signing day arrives.

Mangold, Sims, and Clarett on offense.
Kudla, D'Andrea, Carpenter, Hawk, Salley, Everett, and Underwood on D.

I love the fact that we are doing so well in recruiting I just hope that it continues throughout January and into the beginning of Feb. I really have a great feeling about the end of this class. Tress will get the kids that he really wants.
