I think our chances of landing him are slim to none. He stated that he wants to play in a conference which passes the ball a lot. The big 10 does not fit that criteria. He could change his mind, but I think he is another WR that doesn't want to block he wants to play in a spread offense.

If the Clarett decision holds up (as it almost certainly will) I think this is the category of player we need to look at as one or two years and gone (the top 4 or 5 CBs and WRs).
It would be great to have kids like this, but I don't see JT (the man who redshirted Santonio Holmes) retooling his Offense to attract kids who want to play two years without throwing a block before going to the NFL. In fact, if it does prove to be the trend that this caliber athlete is a one or two year player he may not even target them. |

He is up to 43 offers and is still working to graduate early. He has not narrowed his list down yet and hopes to start doing this late in the summer. |

I think i read somewhere that he was a Buckeye fan growing up-hope I'm right. Usually I have a bad feeling about these kids, but I think if Santonio puts on a show w/ Zwick this year, we have as good a chance as anyone. That said, I predict he will attend 1 of 5 schools-Ohio State,Maryland,Virginia,Florida, or Miami. Mark it down. |
