Best running back in the state of Ohio
I don't usually post in the Recruiting thread and not very aware of things going on up in Ohio in regards to the recruiting wars leading up to the signing day in February. But I would like to know if i could about who is the best running back is going to be that Ohio State would be interested in getting him to come to Ohio State. Thought some of you guru's out there could let me know.

Javon Ringer of Dayton Chaminade appears to be the only Ohio RB that tOSU is seriously considering.
Other top Ohio RB's this year include Tyrell Sutton (Akron Hoban) committed to Northwestern, Ryan Brinson (tOSU may be considering as a DB), Mister Simpson (Colerain) committed to scUM, Cedric Tolbert (Xenia), Greg Keys (Bellevue), Matt Shumaker (Delphos St. John's) (tOSU maybe considering as a FB), Bryan Williams (Akron Buchtel) committed to Pitt as a DB, Kendell Davis (Alliance) (being considered as a DB but has grade issues), Dennis Underwood (Louisville) DQed for his senior year and committed to Indiana, Tim Connor (Glenville) and Tommy Tamaska (Centerville).
I am sure I am forgetting some.

Right now, being a homer, I'd have to put Christian Haywood on that list. He is single handedly carrying Hilliard Davidson in the playoffs.

Joke of a question.
Tyrell Sutton rushed for 3,000 yards this year. He had 500+ yards and 8 TDs in a game against Youngstown Ursuline.
There is no doubt who the #1 RB in the state of Ohio is. And he will win Mr. Football.

Sutton is the best high school back in Ohio, but that doesn't mean he will be the best college back. it doesn't mean he won't be either.

Mr. Football doesn't mean you're the best, it means you have the best stats.

Come on, do you think the best back in Ohio would go to Northwestern? Give me a freaking break.. you guys pick the leftovers after tOSU, scUM, PSU and even Minnesota take the prime pickings..
That said, I think you may of lucked out on getting Sutton, but he isn't the best back in Ohio... at least 2-4 others that are better from everything I have heard

I guess OSU just decided to pass on the best back in Ohio along with scUM, PSU, and any other major D-1 programs. Uh, yeah.
