according to the latest Insiders update he did not mention if tOSU has contacted him- but he has heard from Notre Dame, Purdue, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Tennessee, Nebraska
he had mentioned tOSU as an early favorite in a late '03 article but right now it seems like ND, PU and scUM http://oldgoldfreepress.com/columnis...umns/128.shtml Quote:

It's hard to figure out what this kid is thinking school-wise; aside from Purdue (family favorite), he doesn't ever seem to come right out and say "These are my top schools." Rather, he just tells people the schools that have contacted him and shies away from giving his interest levels.
But he did say he was going to visit Ohio State in the spring, so that can't be a bad sign. |

Rivals -premium
Paxson lists scUM, Purdue, Ohio State, Florida and Tennessee as his top 5- he will not be going to any camps. He wants to continue his Baseball career at any school he chooses but if has a chance to excell at football then he seems willing to give it up. All indications were PU would be the favorite (since most of his family went there) but he explained in the article that he might want to leave the state to be his own man. |

J.B. Paxson never played a down for the Purdue football team. Never practiced or attended a class there, either. But his 15-month tenure as a Boilermaker didn't officially end until this week, when Purdue coach Joe Tiller released him from the letter of intent he signed in February 2005. Paxson is now free to pursue baseball.
