Smith named tOSU and Pitt as his two favorites. It sounds like he is getting his grades in order which should increase his odds of being a Buckeye.

Smith had a very nice camp performance at Ohio State clocking a 4.21 shuttle time, a personal best. He also mentioned he knows his recruitment will pick up after he improves his ACT score.

tOSU and LSU are his co-favorites. He has offers from Mac schools, Pitt, Indiana etc.. He was at the UC game and stays in touch with Donte and Troy Smith.

I'm wondering how his season is going so far? Did he have a good game against WGH? I know I'm of no help around here.

Buckskin86 and/or BuckNutty or anyone,
Please excuse me if I missed it, but is Curtis being recruited by OSU?? He seems to have great size, speed and skills ?? At 6'2"/235 and running a 4.6, he could play at a number of postions it seems.

Smith has been quoted as saying he knows he needs to get a good score on his ACT and if he does he will get more offers. That is obviously one factor. Another is that we're pretty loaded on the d-line and already have committments from Worthington, Denlinger and Williams, not to mention Lawrence Wilson who might select the Buckeyes soon.
I suspect if Smith qualifies he could get an offer, especially if other recruits like Wilson go elsewhere. He's a great athlete and could play a number of positions at the next level, something the Buckeye staff covets.
