An elite prospect who started garnering national attention early in his high school career, the hot-headed Rouse was a source of trouble throughout a freshman season in which he caught just six passes. FSU coach Bobby Bowden recently dismissed him from the team.

It seems Fred Rouse was arrested by the Leon County Sheriff's Department. The charges:
1 DRUGS-POSSESS CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE WITHOUT PRESCRIPTION
BURGL OF DWELLING UNARMED NO ASSLT OR BATT 810.02 3A
2006CF2127A2 GRAND THEFT IS $300 OR MORE BUT LESS THAN $5000
(This was purportedly taken from the Sheriff's website earlier today, but I can't find it on the actual site)
So much potential thrown down the drain.
