I can't help but like Travers solely based on the fact that he took a good midwestern school like Iowa over Petey's west coast glitz.

I agree...I am glad that he is headed to Iowa over USC. I wonder if there was an OSU offer in his future or not. I figured he might be one of those guys who if he held for a while, might get a late offer if we had some other OOS kids fall through. I think he will be a solid LB for them and he will be fun to watch the next few years. |

I wish I could share in the joy but Ohio kids going to a Big 10 school where they will have 4 opportunites to play against us and prove that it was a mistake to pass up on them doesn't excite me.

My bad...I didn't mean it like that. I was actually hoping for Travers to get an offer and be a Buckeye. I just meant if I had to choose him going to either USC or Iowa, I would much rather see him go to just about anywhere other than USC. The last thing I want to see is a pipeline to southern California forming. |
