Official Fiesta Bowl Info (Merged All)
Does anyone know the different ways of getting tickets for the Fiesta Bowl. I haven't been to either of the last two there, and will make the trip from Oklahoma. Any information you could give me would be appreciated.

This will be one hell of a tough ticket to get...you'll probably have to scalp one, but there will be crazed ND fans along with the normal crazed Buckeye fans doing the same.
If you are an OSU alum, employee or student, you can enter the ticket raffle but then you have to buy the Bowl package (air fare, hotel, etc...)...and that's if you get a chance ![]() |

You can get cheaper flights if you return on the 4th. Here is what is currently available from www.qixo.com. Just add $20 to the listed price, and you will have the total price.

Arizona Tavel Guide
Arizona travel tips:
I live in Tucson so if this thread will start with a bit of a Tucson flavor. This is the third trip in four years for the Buckeyes so I figure you'll know the basics of Arizona. I am a very outdoorsy person and a member of the Buckeye Planet community so if anybody wants a tour guide or advice let me know. I will be glad to help in any way I can. I will be glad to lead day hikes or mountain bike rides out of Tucson. I will belay your lead on any number of climbs around the area. If you are experience on rope I have an opening on a world class cave trip between Christmas and New Years (send NSS#). Let me know if you want to hang out in the Tucson area. Now for the off-beat Arizona guide. Rockey Point - http://www.puerto-penasco.com/ A Mexico beach town that is a meer four hours away. The water is warm even this late into the year. This is a fun two day trip. Shelly Sharpe Disc Golf - http://www.pdga.com/course/courses_by_city.php?id=25 The best Phoenix course bar none. Play around a series of lakes while bikini clad bikers cruise up and down the park. Buy discs cheap at the store on Mc Dowell and Miller. Skiing- http://www.sunriseskipark.com/default.shtml There are three ski areas in Arizona, Sunrise is the best. It isn't open yet but the had three inches of snow last night. Sedona- Ok not so far off the path but they do have a nice light show. Don't forget to scam a vacation from the time share folks and eat at Oaxaca restuarant for the view of Bell Rock http://www.oaxacarestaurant.com/ Nogales -All the fun of a Mexican border town three hours south. Shop for trinkets during the days and who know what happens during the night. My pick for places to eat would be La Roca but it is on the "wrong side of the track" as any local trying to take you to a bar an they'll escort you for una pocita propina. Par mas propina toda es posibles. Kartchner Cavers - http://www.pr.state.az.us/parkhtml/kartchner.htmlA really nice tourist cave se of Tucson. Titan Missile Museums - http://www.atomictourist.com/titan.htm See the front line of the cold war. Pheonix Green Belt biking - http://www.go-arizona.com/Scottsdale-Green-Belt 25 miles of bike paths running from Tempe and up through Scottsdale. Shelly Sharpe Disc golf on the green belt. Lots of good hiking and biking trails exists so let me know what and how far you want to go and I could give you recommendations. Looking forward to meet some of you at the game. |
