As far as road visits, we have yet to travel to Alabama, Tennessee, or Nebraska (both games were in Columbus). And next year's visit to lovely Austin will obviously be our first. Last edited by BuckeyeBill73; 05-03-2005 at 03:31 PM. Reason: bad spelling was obvius |

I understood that Mili, I should have made that a little more clear. I was using the comparison for a well hyped out of conference game that would be nearly impossible to get tickets to. I am really looking forward to it, although with $$ being rather tight at the GL household I might be watching it from the front row recliner, unless I can get tickets for around a benny a piece. |

Now I understand how things work and how Mack got you into the Rose Bowl last year. I thought it was just his openly crying and pleading in the media. It should have been another 1 loss season and no BCS.

Texas deserved to be there and unfortunately their opponent's had the most convenient defense in the nation for VY's mobility. The last TD was a great play by Vince, but a number of the others showed lack of discipline, execution and/or bad strategy by the defense (coach and players). Should be interesting to test just how good VY's arm is this fall. I think its better than the critics say it is, however I also believe he tries to make too much happen. On the highlight video, there are like 5 plays where he's already wrapped up for a sack and falling backwards and he throws a pass. That kind of risky play will eventually turn into a turnover (such as if another defender comes from behind and strips the ball). I am very glad they do not have a very experienced receiving corps (TE's were the key) or running game. And the crowd has to be jacked up for this game. We need to be deafening on every play, standing and cheering before the team even breaks the huddle. OSU fed off of the incredible crowd in The Game last year, and they want to do the same this year. But we have to hold up our end of the bargain. Am I the only one who thinks that if the entire crowd is more plastered than usual, they won't be as loud? Yes they'll have restraint, but if you were gonna compete in a yelling competition by yourself would you get totally drunk or stay sober? I'm not asking anyone to change their activities, I just wonder if the extra-drunkenness will be as good for noise as people think. Or will people just get drunk enough to lose their restraint but not lose their ability to yell for hours on end? |

That night may end up being the most electric and deafening atmosphere ever at The Shoe...

...and more drinking is always a better idea, ask a lsu fan if it makes it harder for them to yell |

I realize you can yell while drunk, I just see a lot of people getting so toasted that they don't have the stamina to yell all game long. They'll still be yelling in the fourth quarter, but I would think a sober or just buzzed fan would be much louder at the end of the game.

well I guess it depends on if you keep drinking durring the game or if you stop and get tiered and hungover. bring a flask, keep it going, yell like hell

OK lets use Longhorn's concept for one second. One loss to USC is the best victory for CAL? Which was close at the Trojans. I need some help but what was the impressive Victory for Texas last year? (no no we can not use beating a Michigan team that was beat by Notre Dame and OSU) A team that loses to Oklahoma which makes me believe there are now three things you can count on in life rather than two. Staying on the topic of drinking at a game and keep flow Oklahoma (The team that beat Texas) fans had to be before half time to forget the biggest game of their year against (USC). I stand by that there was too much smoke being blown from Mack's gun. This year it goes through the Shoe and Mack has the chance to earn it like a man not begging.
