It should be different. TTech has more talent than they did in 2002, and you'd be playing them at the end of the season, instead of the beginning, when they are executing the hell outta Leach's system.
Of course, it is hard to predict how they'll perform in a single game, much less an entire season...they've gotta play consistently through a couple more weekends... |

OSU-TT could be an interesting game, but I doubt it. I'd rather see a re-match with Texas, or a game against either the ACC or SEC conference champ. |

I wouldn't want to play Texas Tech in a bowl game, I am not a fan of their program and have no respect for their coach.
Give me a very good SEC team, or a Texas rematch.....or maybe even a USC battle..... |

Which of the following statements is true about Florida International, Sam Houston State and Indiana State?
a. The average fan does not know that any of the three has a football program. b. They are a combined 1-9 for the season (the only win coming against Bacone College, excuse me, that should be THE Bacone College) c. Any of the three could be competitive in the Big XII North. d. They also have been scouted for the Fiesta Bowl. e. Beating them in succession makes a team worthy of being ranked #13 in the country. f. They represent the Texas Tech non-conference schedule. |

Rewarding TTech for playing cupcakes like those three is what's wrong with college football. Until this stops, great games like us against Texas will become even rarer.

Hodges went 44-65 for 644 yards and 5 tds against Kansas State. They had four receivers with over 100 receiving yards, including Joel Filani with 255.
Hodges final td pass came with less than 7 minutes left in the fourth quarter and the Red Raiders up 52-20. And it went to the starting runing back. Classy move by Leach, leaving the starters in for a little longer in this nail-biter. I can't wait to see what kind of beat-down Texas drops on them next Saturday. Come on Mack! Have no mercy on Leach. |
